Q: What is Toronto Heritage Residences? Is it a hotel?

A: Not exactly. From May to August, Toronto Heritage Residences offers short- term room or house rentals in five beautiful downtown residences through Airbnb. These houses are traditional in style, but we have included modern comforts such as WiFi, laundry machines and daily housekeeping. Bedrooms are private, and there is shared a shared kitchen, living room and bathrooms. You may have the opportunity to meet other travelers in the common areas, and neighbors in the community. We are offering an authentic Toronto experience!

Q: I am a University student doing an internship, taking summer classes, or looking for accommodation for the school year. Can I live in one of these houses for several months?

A: Toronto Heritage Residences operates from May to August, and these five houses are only suitable for short term rentals. However, consider applying to Campus Co-op, a residence that offers 4 to 8 month leases to University students all year.

Q: How many people can one house accommodate?

A: Depending on the number of rooms (and shared rooms) in the house, we accommodate between 9 and 15 people per house. In a single room, we offer one single bed, one double bed or one queen bed. In a double room, we offer one queen bed, two single beds, or two double beds. Please let us know your preferred sleeping arrangements.

Q: How many people will share a bathroom?

A: Depending on the size of the house, and whether it is fully occupied, guests usually share a bathroom with 3 to 5 other guests.

Q: Is there a minimum or maximum length of stay?

A: If you would like to book an entire house, the minimum stay is three nights; and if you would like to book single rooms, the minimum stay is two nights.

Q: What is the price range?

A: Approximately $55 to $75 per night, depending on the size of the room.

Q: What is included in the rooms and houses?

A: 

  • Fully furnished rooms and common spaces

  • Free parking (subject to availability)

  • Kitchen appliances and housewares
  • Towels, toilet paper, hand soap
  • Bed linens
  • Clothes hangers
  • Air conditioning or fans

Q: How can I reserve a parking space?

A: Please let us know as soon as possible if you would like a parking space. If there is one available, we will provide you with the details. Otherwise, we recommend finding nearby Green P Parking.

Q: What are the check-in and check-out times for the guests?

A: Check in between 2pm and 9pm, and check out at 11am.

Q: What is the cancellation policy?

A: A confirmed reservation must be cancelled more than seven days before the date of arrival to receive a 50% refund. Otherwise, the total fees will be charged.

Q: Can I bring my pet?

A: Sorry, no pets. :(

Q: Can I bring my children?

A: Yes! This accomodation was not specifically designed for children, but they are welcome.
